The seasons are changing along with the temperatures, but every dark cloud has a silver lining! Let&#8217;s get ready to face it in the healthiest way possible. That&#8217;s why we&#8217;d like to give you some tips on how to take care of yourself in the autumn and how to avoid those initial colds.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<strong>Don&#8217;t forget to dress appropriately for the temperature<\/strong>, i.e. cover yourself enough to be cool, but don&#8217;t get hot and be sure to wear the right layers of clothing. Don\u2019t be in a hurry to wear that new coat if the temperature doesn&#8217;t require it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>-Exercise is also an important ally. <\/strong>Exercising in the street is highly beneficial &#8211; it helps to strengthen the body, and after the rain you can breathe clean, high-quality air. It&#8217;s fine to exercise in warm clothes, but make sure the fabric is breathable so that you don&#8217;t sweat or suffer cold chills.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<strong>Moisturise your skin well<\/strong>, as cold air may cause it to crack. Cut skin can become a target for infections, so to avoid this aim for deep hydration using natural oils and butters.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; <strong>Getting enough rest <\/strong>will allow your immune system to regenerate, become stronger and let you enjoy autumn more. Don&#8217;t oversleep. Seven hours straight is more than enough.<\/p>\n<p><strong>-Drink plenty of water. <\/strong>This is always a good thing, and not just when it&#8217;s hot &#8211; when it&#8217;s cold, food becomes more copious and heavy and it&#8217;s harder for the body to digest everything. That&#8217;s why\u00a0<strong>we recommend drinking plenty of water between meals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s also very important to watch your diet at all times, and not just to keep in shape: in autumn, it can be an effective way to strengthen your immune system and consequently your body&#8217;s defenses. That&#8217;s why we recommend that you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Eat<\/strong><strong>seasonal fruits<\/strong>\u00a0such as citrus fruits &#8211; they\u2019re rich in vitamin C which supports the immune system.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Consume 2 to 3 servings of\u00a0vegetables daily:<\/strong> here you can use your imagination and substitute fresh salads for cooked vegetable salads, vegetable tortillas, cakes, souffl\u00e9s, scrambled eggs, baked stuffed vegetables, etc.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Take advantage of\u00a0green and orange-yellow leafy vegetables<\/strong>, such as pumpkin, carrot, rich in vitamin A, beta-carotene and antioxidants, all of which trigger the body&#8217;s defenses.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Incorporate\u00a0legumes<\/strong>into soups and stews, or combine them with rice or noodles.
