This French city is considered to be one of the most beautiful cities at Christmas and, along with other villages in the Alsace area, it is an essential place to visit at this time of year. It boasts the oldest market in France, which began in 1570, and 11 Christmas markets. They are open from 25 November to 31 December, and are located in some of the city\u2019s most beautiful squares and areas… For example, the Petite France market where you can buy handmade items, the Place Gutenberg market, or the Place Broglie market where you can buy all sorts of Christmas items.<\/p>\n

Vienna<\/h2>\n

Vienna is another city that is very interesting for those who are travelling at Christmas<\/strong>. It boasts some famous markets, such as the market of Baby Jesus, in the Town Hall Square, which has a huge tree and more than 140 wooden stalls selling decorative Christmas items and typical local food. Another must-see location is the Maria-Theresien-Platz Christmas Village, which has more than 60 beautiful stalls and lots of attractions for children. You should also consider visiting the Palace of Belvedere Christmas Village, as it is highly recommended.<\/p>\n

At Christmas, Berlin is decorated with bright lights, and boasts more than 50 markets. They are distributed throughout the city, and have lots of Christmas decorations. Another interesting option is Spandau, the largest market in the city. You also shouldn\u2019t leave without having skated at the Berliner Weihnachtszeit ice rink in Roten Rathau.<\/p>\n
